I started painting while still at school. Encouraged by my art masters I embarked on the career of painter. This picture was taken in 1974  when I was living at the cottage in Suffolk. My website starts with work from this time to the present day. I have had many exhibitions over the years. When I moved to Miami beach in 1979 my work changed to reflect the tropical enviroment. On returning to England in 1982 I produced the English countryside series. In 1985 I moved north to Harrogate where I still live.

My paintings are produced to the finest possible quality using the best  techniques available, whether they be oils, watercolour or mixed media.

We would not appreciate the paintings from history if they had not employed techniques which would stand the test of time.

In the same way the prints on paper or canvas are the best available today. I have 3 different types of prints for sale:

A signed and dated print on paper. The signature and date guarantee that I have seen and inspected the print and vouch for its quality and authenticity.

There are signed dated and numbered limited edition prints on paper. Each of these prints are provided with a certificate of authenticity signed and dated by the artist.

The third type of print is a signed dated numbered limited edition print on canvas stretched on a box frame. These also include a certificate of authenticity.
